SpaceFarer (8-bit)
Rated 5 / 5 stars October 26, 2009
Most imspessive
It's not often you hear an 8-bit chiptune of such great quality. It definitely has that spacefaring feel to it. Some people say that it sounds like Pokemon. But, personally, it reminds me more of Gunstar Heroes, done in 8-bit style. Though, I doubt many remember that game... Oh, well.
Anyway, great job. Way to throw us back to the 8-bit awesomeness of our old days.

Total Epicness! Total Ownage!
When I first heard this piece, back in MMX RPG:Ch. 1, I thought that this was an official track from CAPCOM, who, in my opinion, makes some of the best action music in video games. I mean, just look at the Devil May Cry series, which was your inspiration for this.
Of course, I knew better to take that for granted, given that there are so many great musicians here on NG, like you. So, when I heard this theme again in SMBZ ep.8, I knew the whole portal was rockin' their sox off again!
Bottom line: This song ROX! And so you you! Keep up the good work!

Oh, the epicness...
After listening to this a few times, I started to like it... a lot. It reminds me of music that you might hear in one of those arcade beat-em-ups. It's a shame that franchise has pretty much died out. Those were some of the best games...
Oh well. I'll just have to console myself on this music. All in all, very great job, from the tempo to the instrument choice. Keep up the good work!

LOL! Mario anime awesomeness!
That was such a strange song. But it was definitely funny. And I love the animation used in it. My favorite part was Luigi's small verse.
Bowser: STFU Luigi!!
Luigi: T_T
HOWEVER, I cannot overlook the fact that there wasn't much of a background. That's the only reason this didn't get a perfect score. Overall, it was a great work, and a nice reprieve from the sprite animations that I've found I'm more interested in.
